The MG Car Club's Wiscombe Hillclimb on the 14th September was a great day. I was competing in my A40 but a surprise to me was that the Ferrari Owners Club were also competing.
5 cars were in the Ferrari class and amazingly I was faster than 3 of them!

The engine suffered a failure of the cam belt drive idler shaft and the belt skipped a number of teeth with the expected engine results. Sorry Clive but I had major clutch issues which meant I had to use my Fiat Panda 100HP!.
Clutch problem is now sorted so I am due to be at Wiscombe on the 18th and 19th of May.

Have you fitted plastic windows yet? Good kit available and not crazy money and saves a good amount of weight which is high up and makes a big difference.
