Sir Stirling Moss RIP

It's just been announced that Sir Stirling Moss had died, aged 90. His fame and achievements are well-known but, for A40 Club members, it was his sister Anne Moss who put the A40 Farina firmly on the map during the heady days of rallying. They both shared a strong sense of competitiveness, Stirling in motor racing; Anne in horsemanship and, later, rallying especially aboard the three A40s she so admired. She never took to circuit racing, saying that out on the open road she was faced with considerably more challenges than merely driving around a closed route. Her late brother might have disagreed! RIP, both of them.

A very sad day indeed! Such wonderful people, there will never been people like that again. Id always known her as Pat Moss, was Anne Moss her real name that was changed to Pat Moss when she started racing?

im happy in the fact i was able to speak to stirling, Graham hill, and jackie stewart , many moons ago at a boys club about go karts racing etc, To all of these awesome men who made the motor sport which i admire, i liked the fact that all these men took the time to speak to us kids in a grown up way with so much enthusiasm, i also met him at Brooklands some years later and had a talk and laugh with him there aswell.
RACE IN PEACE Sir Stirling Moss
