... and good riddance to 2020 (although to be fair, the time seems to have flown by). Indeed, for those of us in slightly advanced years, you may be surprised to learn that it was exactly 60 years ago today that the farthing ceased to be legal tender. Doesn't seem that long. I can remember buying farthing 'chews' which were little individually wrapped soft sweets of - I think - either fruit salad or blackjack (liquorish).
