Afternoon,
I had the pleasure of using a company called Carbcare (Lichfield based) this morning. Alan came to my house and thoroughly checked over my A40 and tuned it to run so sweet I cannot stop nipping out for drives in it now.
I am new to classics and their engines and Alan talked me through everything he was doing so it was a great learning experience.
I know this may not be for everyone with such alot of the community being very knowledgeable and able to do this kind of tune themselves but for a very reasonable price I found it fascinating and my car is so smooth now.
He does travel and also offers full carb refurbs. The big selling point was he learnt to drive in an A40 and was very happy to be working on one.
