Sure that's not 1954 Mike ? My books show "one known". '59 isn't mentioned. 1961 was the first year proper of QEll pennies.

Definitely Dave ,from 54 to 61 no pennies were struck according to my research

54 to 60 Mike. Deffo in 61. Just a few in 53 for special sets in plastic sleeves.
Possibly one other "one off" is a 52 half crown. Again, "one known" apparently.
