VICTORY IN EUROPE

Post by Keith Bennett » 08 May 2020 08:30

We might be getting rather tired of our lockdown as we try to avoid this indiscriminate killing virus, but it does serve to remind us that those who lost their lives in conflict last century did so for our freedom. We can only look forward to the day when - 75 years on - we can also freely celebrate victory over this virus by throwing parties and rejoicing as they did back in 1945.
