Yes I built/modified my Mk2 A40 HAD 597D back in 2017. I welded the top hatch to boot lid and hinged the top.
Also fitted a 1300 Marina engine and Auto box. Bet it was the only Automatic A40. Brilliant car wish I hadn't sold it.

Hi I have fitted a MG midget fuel tank today. it fits great, all bolts bar one line up. But how do you get over the filler pipe it's in a slightly different place and now I need a two and quarter inside diameter hose with a slight bend where can I find one about six inches long thanks.
