Yes I have just removed them and the near side has snapped clean off about 25mm from the end of the splines. Do you think that new standard shafts, as the club has in stock, would be any more durable ?

I snapped a half shaft first time out ! Luckily on the last special tests of the rally and I rolled over the finishing into the Main Control

Can I ask another question regarding halfshafts. My car is a 1098 with about 75bhp according to the rolling road printout. Do I need to buy some two piece halfshafts from Peter May ?

Thanks for that information. I have contacted Maniflow. My exhaust diameter is 41mm and both the 4-2-1 manifold and the exhaust look fairly new but the exhaust just seems to too noisy. I have borrowed a noise meter and will take some readings.
