Also, the rear seat's heelboard piece isn't needed; both areas were covered in black vinyl material at the time of manufacture. Mike has asked whether your ca...

an article in Practical Classics, Nov. 2019

Our Club and Practical Classics have existed pretty much for the same number of years and we enjoy a good relationship with them, especially photo-journo Richard Dredge . He's done it again with what is probably the final article on A40s for the near future at least. He took a great interest in FN '...

an article in Motoring Classics Magazine...

... formerly known as Car and Bike Classics , this small (A5 format) publication was launched in late 1992, and the following pages appeared in their first issue of November/December of that year. Popular Classics location

The article for the above publication can currently be found in the thread "A40 pics...present day", and the photoshoot location was convenient for one Nick Bayliss who repaired A40s for sale. NBayliss.jpg Farina News [ source to be found ] published a lengthy article on the perils of fitting windsc...

An article in Popular Classics, 1991

More publicity for "our" cars, this time in another glossy monthly. The photoshoot took place at the home of Anna & Frank Vickerman where one Nick Bayliss did up A40s for sale in one of the barns (see an entry in "out 'n about pics" thread), so the location was naturally convenient for the journalis...

An early article in Practical Classics, 1984

Probably the first one to deal comprehensively with the A40, actually. Its appearance certainly gave our Club quite a boost... Classic & Sports Car article, 2004

I was astonished to be approached by journo Malcolm McKay, who wanted to put an article in C&SC's November 2004 issue. Who was I to argue?
