Not entirely certain whether this image comes under "Glory days" but the Banbury Guardian for 16th July 1987 shows a very purposeful A40 at speed and looking for another victim or two to ram!

Loved the fact that your year apparently ends on 1st December! All you've got to look forward to now until 1st January is the Season of Hostilities, endless Christmas adverts and an increasingly hysterical barrage of all things seasonal from the press and TV. Bar humbug, I says!

Sadly, Mike, when Brynmor was moving the old site over to the https one he managed to lose the entire forums including all the committee discussions and the rest of the content.
