Welding Rods.

Met a chap the other day I hadn't seen in years and it reminded me of a puzzling and amusing story. His brother Steve was a friend of mine, great lad, a Machine Tool Fitter who played Rugby with me, was possibly overfond of a pint and seriously unreliable, prone to no shows etc. I was running a Body...

Another Century

Another century. My 400th post, though admittedly most are drivel. That said, I want to use the milestone to praise the forum, and commend it to members who don't post a great deal, and non members to encourage them to join. I very much enjoy this community and think others would too! Have a lovely ...

Reward

As well as the A40, did a small job today on herself's car, stopping the exhaust heatshield rattling it's head off. Mrs E took me for a reward, which went down rather nicely in the lovely sunshine!

Bit of luck - for once!

I was using my airline blow gun Thursday when it suddenly spat out its long nozzle, lock ring and a spring. Sans receipt, but knowing it was fairly new, I trot off to the ever helpful Machine Mart in Altrincham. He has a look on the computer and says to me 'Happy Birthday!'. I say its not my birthda...
