Here's a 1968 picture of Lookers Northwich, where yours truly served his time. Bust scene with garage and public car park. Question is... How many A40's???

This is one of my favourite photos Keith it brings back so many happy memories. I get five definite, possibly more fuzzy!
One parked by the Landrover on the left, one parked middle row, one entering the car park, one just coming off the road and finally 672 KTU, our late Bodyshop Foreman's well loved motor, parked by the Workshop entrance lane.
Other Motors of interest in this picture - The rare Series One Landrover Station Wagon was the Vicars' - Canon Hoyle was a boat enthusiast who towed his Boat to Glasson Dock with it. The Morris Oxford in front Arno's A40 belonged to our service manager Stan who was a fishing fanatic, he loved the cavernous boot for all his gear! The Austin 1800 in the foreground was my Father's (the boss) transport at the time.

Sad events this week in our lives with three unexpected deaths (two sudden and under 50) tell us time and tide wait for no man, making it essential that we cherish these memories in our allotted time.
