Pound Shops and Inflation.

Post by exlkrs » 15 May 2022 10:28

We all know and love our Pound Shops for a multitude of reasons. Mine is the abundance of cheap (and dubious quality) tools and consumables. If you view them as disposable and use for one off jobs where the volume of use of a decent one doesn't justify the expense, then that's great and a really cost effective way of getting the job done. So, in this little resto of mine, the case in point is paint brushes. Cheap assorted set, use for primer, seam sealer etc, don't clean after use, just bin. Great. Only problem now is inflation - pre Pandemic £1.50, today £5.50!! Back to cleaning decent ones I think!!
