Busy day. My old faithful XJ decided to die on me. Have been using it with a water leak for some time, topping up getting more frequent, was alternate days, today it was coming out quicker than I could put it in. Of course, the leaking plastic joint is well buried in TDVi gubbins, so with a 2 week hol looming, had to park it up for now. So, transport emergency. Snuffing around the trade I know unearthed a cute Fiat Panda in Teenage Zit Yellow, Long test, One owner 75k miles and in 1.3 diesel. £30 road tax and 60 to the gallon, I would have been mad not to. Deal done, drives great, problem solved!
