Later type A40 Farina steering box / column

Our A40 Farina worm and peg type steering boxes, made by Cam Gears, evolved during the years of production. Although they have lasted well the Mark 1 type were very basic. The early Mark 2 type were better and incorporated a spring to hold the peg in place on the worm. However during the final 18 months of production a more sophisticated steering box was fitted and is very much the 'Holy Grail' of them all. Much sought after by the racing 'guys' they are a straightforward swop to a Mark 2 but more complicated to fit to a Mark 1.
