Thanks for your interest, Andy. Agnes Barker's the girl who seems to set these things going but she hasn't been on here for a while. No doubt she'll be turning up very soon, especially now the lockdown may continue to ease. The Northern Group's usual venue is the Thirsk Garden Centre - watch this space!

'evening John, thanks for the heads-up. I hope our faithful correspondent Agnes isn't indisposed? (Not that it isn't really good to hear from you!!!)

Andy, Paul Tinkler has set up a WhatsApp group "A40 Farina Northern Group" which you could join. I've sent you a PM.

Hello folks, yes the North Yorkshire group is happy enough to meet up again now restrictions eased. We will be back at our favoured venue of Thirsk garden centre and coffee shop, Blakey Lane, Thirsk YO7 3AB which has been vastly extended since our last visit both inside and out with much larger seating areas. Those favouring the cakes and bacon butties will be happy to see their favourites.
Sunday 23rd May, from 11am to meet and greet all those friendly faces we've been missing for so long. Come along and join us if you can, you'll be made most welcome

Sunday 23 May
After rain, rain and even more rain !!, the weather gods were kind to us this morning with a dry dull start, so time to get the A40 out of hibernation.

So pleased to see that the Northern gang are out and about (although I don't know what sort of drink a kinFived might be!!) Very sorry the news can't appear in June's FN, which is currently being printed. What we need is some kind of immediate electronic system that folk can write to. Oh, wait . . .
