Very good news Ed. We must try and find a detailed map showing the quite hidden little lane which leads from the ring road down to the Museum's forecourt!

Gents......date has had to be changed. Now 28th October, due to a n other group having the audacity & brass neck to choose MY date sometime "earlier" this year.......cheek of it

Could have informed sooner, BUT BLOCK 'ED 'ere made a Billy Silly Chump of 'imself by attaching last years completed form to the replying email....... :? :? :? :? :? Just sorted it today. Contact at Cov Council goes AWOL Fri afternoons 'til Tuesday...... So she was probably catching up yesterday & today.

APOLOGIES :(

Emails going out to each individual who's contacted me..... 7 so far.
If in doubt....kick the Ruskies OUT ❗

Hi Dave,

Looks like another 3 interested people on Facebook so far. I'll continue publishing the event on the members page closer to the time as well.

Do you have an idea of a start time and also one person has asked if there is a discount to the entrance fee of the museum?

Thanks,
Dave

If you've never visited this museum you're in for a huge surprise - a vast cross section of items to see and much to learn about. Almost worth hoping for a wet day!!

Keith is absolutely right, the museum itself is a real gem, which is fitting for somewhere with such a vast automotive history as Coventry. It tends to be forgotten that Triumph, Jaguar, Daimler, Hillman, Humber, Singer, Riley, Standard, Armstrong Siddeley, Lea-Francis, and various others, were all based in and around the city at some point! I spent most of the meetup last year wandering around the museum for hours and completely losing track of time, to the point that I was assumed to have silently gone home!

There are still two months to go, but would anyone in the West Mids tentatively be up for a convoy to the museum on the morning of the meetup?
