Matt led the whole of the first lap, then the Jag's power came into play on the straight. followed him till around half distance, ready to pass next lap, BMW 800 went int bank, safety car out for a number of laps, larger cars cooled brakes and tyres and got a second chance, we finished this race 4th behind 7 ltr Ford Thunderbird, 3.8 Jag, 1500 Alfa. We were within 100yds of the winner at the line, 1st A40 home by a good amount.
