Greetings everyone, did you know that Australia had a Camping version of the Austin A40 Farina where all the seats reclined to form a bed? There is a brochure showing this currently on Ebay. All the Mk 1 Countrymans I have seen have wind up windows.
Dont forget the Countryman was an Australian idea thought up in the tea room at BMC Zetland, Sydney!
Heaters were an option on all Farinas here. The fresh air vent system was standard but no windscreen washers fitted although the bonnet has the hole for the outlet fitting. Many manual pump systems were fitted after-market as genuine ones were a £5 option. Sun visors were a popular option around £10 as well. All the other camping stuff went on the optional roof rack. Hope this provides some interest.

No; in his article, Tony tells us that the blue Mk2 is his 'other' car.
