1966 A40 Farina Mark 2 Countryman

Post by Derek Minter » 28 Jun 2025 07:24

Longstanding club member Brian, who joined our club in 1997, has decided that the time has come to sell his 1966 Mark 2 A40 Farina Deluxe Countryman which is painted in Cumulus Grey with a Snowberry white roof. It has a red interior which is in good condition, especially considering this is a 59 year old vehicle! It has covered 85,000 miles.

The car was purchased by his uncle Arthur in 1966 and passed onto Brian in 1997. He spent two years restoring it and also purchased new carpets.

It has always been well maintained, new screen rubber seals were fitted in 2023, a reconditioned dynamo two years ago and also a new clutch in 2024. The wiring under the bonnet was replaced May 2025.

Many parts will also be included in the sale. King pin sets, linkages, gaskets, air filter, fuel pump, axle stands, crawler board on wheels, gaskets, window channel sets and weather strips.

Brian has a copy of the original bill of sale and also the original log book and a workshop manual.

Please contact me (parts@a40farinaclub.co.uk) and I will put you in touch with Brian who lives in Devizes, Wiltshire.

For sale at £6250
