Area Meeting

To celebrate the resurgence of the East Anglian Group with the help of Nick Davey, m/n 4298, who has agreed to handle the admin side of things, we will be holding a club meeting on Sunday 13th August at Scott Automotive workshops between 11am and 2pm or when it ends. Drinks and some snacks will be provided or you can bring your own picnic if you wish. The workshops will be available to look round as on previous occasions. We hope for some good weather but we will cope with whatever comes.

Anyone wishing to attend please contact me at info@scottrace.com and I will send a map and instructions to find our workshop which will make life easy as we are by the side of the A11 trunk road from Newmarket to Norwich.

Look forward to seeing lots of A40s on the day.

Those of us who have visited Scotty's workshops in the past know very well the astonishing range of vehicles passing through the ultra-skilled group who work there.

For those whose "thing" is admiring top-quality engineering and body restoration, Scotty's generous invitation really should not be missed.

As a long time owner (but not driven, or on the road for a long time) of a Mk1, I'm hoping to have my car on the road during 2024.

I'm based in Norwich, is there anyone else in this part of the East?

There are indeed David. I am sure Nick Davey m/n 4298 has also seen this and may well be in touch with you. We will be organising meets during the year but still to be arranged. Contact me if you would like to pop down to the workshops at Red Lodge for a visit and I will send you directions.

Nick has been busy with a Marina he bought but the A40 will soon be dusted down don't worry.
