Latest update - just need to locate an o/s rear inner wheel housing panel as mine is shot! (You can see it on the car)
Am trying the usual channels to source a replacement but not a part the club remakes - but if anyone has a spare (!) please get in touch!
New Garage Find - Suffolk
Re: New Garage Find - Suffolk
So a further update - new wings added and successful test fit of rear bumper - not long now until paint!

A word to the wise: that small hole which sits near the angle of the rear wing's closing panel is where the narrow rubber drain pipe from the base of the rear lights' unit emerges into fresh air.
The pipe is prone to being blocked by mud being thrown up by the rear wheel and, if not kept clear, will allow rainwater to rot out the light unit.
Worse still, if the pipe is perished or even missing entirely, the boot floor is in danger of rotting out so do take the time to ensure that it's doing its job.
Obviously the same warning applies to both sides of the car and I suppose the Mk2 shells have the same pipes.
By the way, congratulations on such a meticulous restoration!
