Please find attached some photos of my A40, the best I could do in my cluttered garage. The car has been in the family since 1960 when it was bought new. It was used regularly when my father was alive but little since. It had an engine overhaul at when the clock showed 100,000 miles but less than 1,000 since. It is garaged in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
It has been on blocks for 25 years as you see it in the photos. I planned to do some work on it when I retired. The engine work (done professionally) was to be the start. Unfortunately, for many reasons, I never managed to work on it as planned - and now I'm too old.
I have the paperwork, some spares, handbook, a car cover, and other bits and pieces that I'd like to go with the car.
I was a member of the A40 Farina Club - but many years ago. I'd like to think that an enthusiast would be interested in getting it running again. As I mentioned, I plan to donate anything I might get to a local charity.
