Dangerous couple of days!

Post by Keith Bennett » 13 Feb 2026 09:14

Take care, boys and girls - today's Friday 13th so take care especially if you're out and about in the A40.

And tomorrow's Valentine's Day, a perilous date for those of us whose memories aren't quite as sharp as they were! Good luck!

Only if she catches me! When we married in '72, our best man read out a little poem:-

To keep the marriage happy,
O'er fill the loving cup.
Whenever you're wrong, admit it.
Whenever you're right, SHUT UP!

Worked so far . . .

Ruby's in good company, Sam. My Gab decided it was time her clutch should be replaced: three weeks after it's successful installation, the master cylinder failed. It seemed sensible to replace the faithful slave "just in case" and now Gab, like Ruby, is back mixing it with the moderns.
