Minus nine degrees yesterday: plus eleven degrees today. Unpacked Gab, primed the fuel pump, climbed in, heaved the choke wide open, turned the key and sat back with a grin from ear to ear as the old bird cranked over twice and fired smoothly.

I've driven her for 56 years and I still get a buzz when she fires. All those bits revolving in perfect unison are, to my ignorant mind, nothing short of miraculous and to think the car had stood unused outside during that bitterly cold weather too.

Oh yes they really are such super cars Keith. Ruby is also a very ready starter! No problem when the car is in find tune! A good battery is a help too.
