My September 1963, 1098cc Mk2 de-luxe saloon is sadly for sale due to health problems. Very good condition but not concourse standard. Mechanically she’s all original specification and is very reliable with no issues at all, having been carefully maintained during my ownership and currently showing 71,351 miles. She proudly wears the Union Jack (correctly painted!) which goes so well with the maroon paintwork and light tan interior. The agreed value stands at £8,000 but I will accept around the £5,500 mark.

Sadly the club cannot disclose people's details but I would assume that, given the lack of response to your approaches, that the car did indeed sell.

Do keep an eye on the electronic marketplaces 'cos A40s do turn up from time to time. Good hunting!
