Quite scary in Banbury tonight when I collected Bar from church at 6pm - freezing fog and some icy stretches around the local estate roads. Wipers not much use and oncoming "moderns' " headlights so bright Gab was reduced to walking speed (not popular with the 4x4s behind me but then, I was in front, so screw 'em!)

WE have been lucky here in North Dorset.A light dusting of snow three days ago that disappeared quickly ,quite cold but the days have been sunny enough for the solar panels to give a good output.

Blimy Mike, when was that? That really is cold for Sept! Sounds like you have had it pretty bad where you are! The town of Seaford has been okay snow wise however all around did have snow. I was waiting for an hour nearly for the bus home from work. Waited half an hour for the bus in the cold then decided i would go over the road to the pub for a drink and a warm up. Bus did come in the end and i had no trouble getting home. Hope you and Bar are keeping warm enough in this weather. Same for you and Mrs H Mike.
