Hi All,

Eerr, have committed the cardinal sin of removing my dashboard and not taking pictures…
Has anyone got any pics of reinstalling one as I have got very confused with what held it in place.
I am assuming it goes somewhere in the front of the vehicle???

Okay Meiri, first things first (apart from welcome to the forum of course!) - is your car a Mk1 (basic grey 'tin' dash with just a glove box, speaker grille and simple instrument panel; or is it a Mk2 (wood finish with glove box, heater controls and wider instrument panel)?

And yes, it's best located just in front of the steering wheel !!

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes it is a mark 2 with the wood dashboard.

I am normally quite good at systematically reversing the order of disassembly but have lost the pictures and it has been a good six months since I took it apart.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
