Round trip

I could have done without a 300 mile round trip yesterday, although it was a bit my fault as i'd underestimated, but now in my shed is a nice second hand rear bumper complete with all fixings intact and a light and decent overriders, and an incidental purchase of a set of nicely priced rostyle wheels I found en route via facebook marketplace and needed a not so bad diversion on the way home. Also made two useful leads - The chap I had the bumper off tells me he is clearing a garage with possible goodies in it, and the guy I had the wheels off not too far from home has broken 3 midgets and could prove a useful source of things. Tiring but useful day spent.

If any of the Midgets are '77 on....get the diffs if available. They're 3.7, & rare

They are Dave, and two of them are rubber bumpered. Hmmm.....

Check chassis numbers :- 200,001 onwards are 3.7 ( Aug '77 ).
