Mk1 in captivity, Scarborough

Post by Keith Bennett » 05 Aug 2022 21:54

My wife Bar was watching the final Susan Calman tour of seaside towns this evening and during the Scarborough episode she visited the Scarborough Fair collection of fairground rides and a selection of vehicles from that area. Somehow a Grey/Black Mk 1 appeared.

Looking closely I can see an A40 Club badge gracing the right-hand side of the radiator grille.

I wonder who the Club member is/was and how the car ever ended up in the museum?
