Passed my theory test!

Post by Maya » 12 Dec 2022 17:22

Not much else to say, really! I took my theory test this afternoon and passed with 48/50 on the multiple choice questions, and 48/75 on hazard perception. Hopefully soon I can get rid of the L plates once and for all!

Never doubted you couldn't do it!

Any news about your car's electrical gremlins?

Thanks everybody!

About the crazy electrics: I ended up ordering a loom from Autosparks in October, which finally arrived last week. Decided to go for a brand new one after all for the peace of mind. I found a fairly local guy who can fit it, but given it's this time of year, it might have to wait until after New Year. But after that, here's hoping...!

Congratulations! I hope you're driving your A40 soon. I remember passing my test. 7 years ago now!

Well done, now on to the next hurdle, the practical.
I remember passing my test Sam in 1960 in an A35 and at last I could use the 1936 Morris 8 I had bought two years previously.

Over 60 years ago now Mike! I'd love to have been around then! Did you pass first time? I bet you were glad to be able to drive at last. I hope that you and Mrs H are keeping well.

Passed mine Feb 60, off in my Morris 8, drove to school sometimes, parked alongside masters cars, that did not go down well.
