Non motoring what is it
Altho it is a non motoring item it was a freeby to some customers from this motor factor.
I think it is from 50/60s and is unused.

Look, the label on the box gives it away - even I can tell it's a Ferrari piston. Honestly, wot a give-away.

I'ts a Razor Blade Sharpener!
The manufacturer was Buck & Abbott Ltd of Preston, Lancashire. Insert the blade, turn the handle guess around 1950s.
Ferraris Piston Services are better known as FPS Distribution. They where part of Lookers until a few years ago. They run those distinctive Peppermint Green delivery vans.

Spot on .The internals consist of a pair of contra rotating cylindrical strops and the gearing flips the blade over at the end of a rotation so both sides of the blade are honed.Graham Bish wrote: ↑03 Jun 2020 10:03I'ts a Razor Blade Sharpener!
